Archiving Policy
The Journal is dedicated to the long-term preservation of its scholarly content. We follow a multi-layered archiving strategy to ensure that all published research remains accessible to the global academic community, even in case of technical failures or if the journal ceases publication.
Archiving and Preservation Policy
Our systematic approach to digital preservation ensures the long-term security, integrity, and accessibility of all published content. Key steps include:
- Automatic Harvesting via PKP PN: All articles are automatically ingested into the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) upon publication. This ensures a secure, independent copy of each article is preserved outside the journal’s primary hosting environment, safeguarding against data loss, technical failure, cyber incidents, or server downtime.
- Long-Term Accessibility: PKP PN guarantees that published research remains available to the academic community over time. Even if the journal platform faces disruption or stops operating, preserved content remains securely accessible.
- Content Integrity Protection: Articles archived through PKP PN are preserved in their official published form, maintaining authenticity and ensuring that readers always access the Version of Record.
- Standards-Based Preservation: PKP PN follows internationally recognized digital preservation practices, supporting sustainable scholarly communication and compliance with archiving requirements of indexing and abstracting services.
